IPL 2019 DC vs SRH Eliminator | FanFight Fantasy Cricket Preview

DC vs SRHThe Capitals have been on an absolute roll this season. They’ve won 9 garnered 18 points but still have to play the qualifier to stay in contention. Cricket is a cruel game, indeed. Delhi have played some of the most exciting cricket this season. Their seasoned campaigners have played their part & the juniors have risen to brighter heights.

STRONG DELHI vs DETERIORATING HYDERABAD

Shikhar Dhawan has piled-up runs & at a pace. 486 runs at 37.38. Ishant Sharma has found his rhythm, especially with the white ball. The lanky pacer has picked 10 wickets and has conceded only 7.65 runs-per-over. Amit Mishra can’t stop picking wickets. The dextrous leggie hasn’t played every game but has created dents in the opponents batting order whenever introduced. However, without Kagiso Rabada, there certainly is a massive void that might cost them dearly. They’ve got the superbly talented Trent Boult in their ranks, who isn’t that bad a back-up but is he as good as Kagiso? Certainly, not at the moment. Delhi have won 7 seven of their last 9 matches & have momentum on their side. Can they topple SRH? Let’s deduce.
SRH had an explosive start to the season but they’ve lost track after the departure of Jonny Bairstow & David Warner. The batting looks pale. The bowlers have no big totals to bowl at & the only batter that looks in fine touch is Manish Pandey. Kane Williamson had a decent hit against RCB but when their bowling needed to launch, they hit a wall. KKR’s defeat against MI was enough to take them through. Do they have the quality to go all the way? There’s no shortage of ability. It’s the execution that will matter most.
Every time Khaleel Ahmed picks up the kookaburra, he manages to pick up priced scalps. He’s played only 8 matches & has managed to dismiss 17 batsmen. His strike-rate, a mind-boggling 11.29. Hyderabad, at the VDCA cricket stadium, have won 3 & lost two. How will this eliminator pan out for them? The numbers & current form shifts the pendulum towards Delhi, but can Kane & Co, pull out a rabbit off the hat?
